Responsible TourismIf you are traveling to Cambodia or another Southeast Asian country, please be aware that the café’s, spas, restaurants, hotels, guest houses, and stores you solicit affect vulnerable people. There are many pedophiles, criminals, and commercial sex establishments operating in Cambodia. Your awareness and avoidance of these establishments defer their ability to further exploit vulnerable demographics.In Cambodia, there are ‘Child Safe’ moto taxi drivers and tuk-tuk drivers that participate in safe practices that protect children from exploitation. Please, utilize these drivers and ask your hotel if they also participate in this vital program. Child Safe and Friends Organization have done wonderful work that has positively impacted children at risk. Your participation in supporting this program makes a difference.
